Size the housing.

Housing size
Drawers & compartments

A taller enclosure holds more drawers. Choosing three raises the height if it is too low.

All drawers are the same size, so the layouts are interchangeable. Slides are cut at one height level per drawer in the centre column.

Magnets
Lid plate & lip

Lid magnets sit in pockets on the underside. The lip locates each lid on its compartment rim.

Feet & grips
Extras

Recessed underside pockets take adhesive grip dots. The finger recesses cut into the lid and drawer fronts make them easy to pull.

Walls, clearances & corners

Wall thickness sets the shell size around the compartments. Clearances leave space around the drawers and lids; the compartment width sets the lid size.

Fit & assembly

Lids, drawers and magnets

One housing carries the drawers in a centre column with a lid compartment on each side. The lids drop onto their compartment rims and magnets hold them seated instead of letting them lift or slide. The drawers run on the housing walls, so there is nothing to align and nothing to screw down.

The housing defaults to 250 × 100 × 75 mm with 2.4 mm walls, 3 mm shell corners and a 0.45 mm drawer clearance; the lids sit with 0.35 mm of clearance on a 3.2 mm lip. Magnet bores take Ø5.2 × 1.7 mm discs with a closed floor, a tapered retaining lip and a 0.3 mm seat clearance, and the underside takes Ø10.5 × 3.15 mm silicone feet in 1.575 mm recesses.

Press the magnets past the retaining lips and push the feet into their recesses before the first use. The drawer rims, fascias and finger recesses carry 0.6 mm roundovers and the inner floor joins blend through a 1.2 mm radius. Fit and clearances have not been checked against a physical print, so confirm the drawer travel and the magnet seating on your own copy.
