A countertop cradle for a card reader
A stand that holds a SumUp Air reader at a comfortable reading angle and keeps a stack of business cards within reach beside it. The cradle leans back 28° above the countertop and the card well sits in front, so the counter stays clear apart from one object.
The pocket is 60.8 mm across at the floor and widens to 84.7 mm at the seat lip, following the measured taper of the reader with 0.2 mm of nominal clearance per side. The reader outline is 84.9 × 84.9 mm with 8 mm corners, and the pocket is 17 mm deep, covering about 72% of the reader's thickness so it lifts out easily. The card well takes 85 × 55 mm cards landscape in an 87 × 14 mm opening 35 mm deep, leaving 20 mm of card exposed.
The base and cradle carry 14 mm and 1 mm edge rounding, and four Ø10.9 × 1.575 mm recesses take optional Ø10.5 × 3.15 mm silicone dots. A separate fit coupon reuses the full-depth seat over a 2 mm floor, so the pocket clearance can be checked against a real reader before printing the whole stand.
