Fit & assembly

Six insert types on one drawer grid

Inserts are arranged on a grid sized to your drawer: open trays, long channels, divided trays, small-parts grids, angled racks and rounded cradles. Anything larger than the usable print area splits into sections joined with recessed bow-tie keys, and neighbouring inserts link with flush rim clips so a full layout behaves as one piece.

The default drawer is 315 × 330 × 110 mm with 65 mm inserts, a 6 × 6 grid, 1 mm of clearance per side, a 0.4 mm gap between inserts and 0.2 mm of connector clearance. Usable print width is 250 mm, inside the 256 mm bed, and the walls are 2.4 mm with a 4 mm floor. The default layout comes to seven tray sections, two floor keys and nine rim clips, plus three sample pieces.

Sections and keys export flat and the clips export on their side. Join split sections on a flat surface, insert the floor keys from above, then press the clips over adjoining walls; the part names identify the insert and its section coordinates. Check the fit sample against the real drawer, and allow room above stored objects for the drawer to close.
